The Quebec Cadastre Reform Program: A great undertaking
The Quebec Cadastre Reform Program was proposing a change: set up an efficient, flexible, and interactive link between the Quebec Land Register and its users. In light of the scale of the system to implement, the Quebec government called upon Promoteurs Inforef, a partnership composed of DMR Conseil Inc., Bell Canada, Iron Mountain Canada Corporation, and Notarius.
A leading role for Notarius
Following consultation, the partners proposed a solution based on the use of digital signatures. As a result, the Quebec Government assigned a major contract to Notarius: to establish the necessary infrastructure to ensure the security and confidentiality of transactions electronically transmitted to the Land Register. Once again, the challenge was met with success!
